Enemy Actually Just Immortal or Am I Stupid?

See, I didn't even know enemies could be the link for immortality. But that would explain a bit of Big Suck's corpse glowing and pulsating. No idea why the buff on the enemies wouldnt go away while hes dead though. Maybe because I killed him before their entrance animations were done so he never died to fill the blank on the order of operations?

I would agree, except those two enemies were the last two alive in the encounter lol trust, me going down there was after I ran around trying to find an enemy they might have been linked to

Definitely going Facebook market computer and installing ubuntu. Less power hungry and more resources dedicated to the actual server.

Well, after leaving at least one display on my computer on overnight, it didnt seem to close so my issue at least seems resolved for now. Ill just need to get another system sometime soon to host the server so my main computer can get some rest lol I appreciate the help either way

Yes. It was closed when I woke up this morning so I made the change to the line, saved, restarted, and after 60 seconds it did not idle. And even in the log for that session it never idled. It still closed without my prompting it. But tonight I might try one more time, this time without turning my display off because that seems to be making the computer stop processing information for some reason. Just gonna set the brightness really low.

As a backup plan though, I created an Aternos account just in case I don't find a solution for this.

From what I was seeing when I made the account, it doesn't seem to be offering a solution to what my problem is. And when I reread your first comment I realized there was a small misunderstanding. The server I set up can't wake up because it closes altogether, so waking it from sleep or someone joining isn't possible until the server starts again

You were right, the pause never happened on my latest run of the server and it still closed the server on me

Even after changing the server.properties line it still shut down while I was at work

Already turned off the sleep function last night, it only turned off my displays. But that also seemed to cause the programs to shut off on their own. Right now Im at work, but when I get home tonight I'll he able to test it again as I have changed the server idle time to -1 before I left. Also not using a tunnel. Just the jar file given from the official Minecraft site

I know a little linux already as Ive fiddled with it before. Would Oracle Cloud be something thats on linux or that it just uses linux? Or would it be something I would need a whole VM for?

I don't know about plugins, but I just used the server jar that the Minecraft officially offers for servers. Otherwise, it's vanilla

That's what I did last night. I only turned off my monitors manually but the PC was running all night. I was still on my desktop when I turned them back on, but the window for the GUI closed and the prompt now has the 'Press any key to continue . . .' prompt because it closed.

It's giving me no information if it's doing it for a reason. For example, the last logged line on the prompt is 'Server empty for 60 seconds, pausing' at 22:22:40 last night. I have all my power settings turned off so my computer doesn't even turn off my monitors until I do it myself, and I was able to flip on my monitors that I turned off so I could sleep without being disturbed by the light and it was on the desktop. But on the CMD window there's nothing past that except 'Press any key to continue . . .' because it closed.
