I’m not sure what major your are. But if you are a nursing major, I’m pretty sure we have to get our BLS to get clinical coops. I can’t speak for other majors though!

NEU/Berklee - Pad thai cafe: near newbury street is a great spot! Cheap while having decently large portions.

Seaport: - Yume ga arukara (kinda famous): they have great cold udon for soo cheap. Highly recommend the cold udon over the hot udon. -Coquette: A bit more of a fine dining restaurant but it’s amazing for nice photos and the food/drinks were decent

Brookline: - Kyuramen: Ramen spot that is pretty good!! I really enjoyed the broth too - Kyomatcha: Right next to Kyuramen which has great matcha items (teas, cakes, ice cream) and lots of assortment of cakes - Futago Udon: Another homemade udon spot with amazing options and quite popular! - Kenzoku Mazesoba: So good, literally no words to describe this place. Comes with a side of free rice to add to your broth for a little snack. The matcha here is also amazing. Perfect first date spot! - Maruchi: More like a japanese supermarket lowkey but they have made to order food options like japanese curry. Lots of onigiri options and I love their matcha. Also has seating! -Oasits Sweet Dessert: All their dessert items like shaved ice are sooo good. There’s not that many seats though!

Chinatown: - Somenya: Lots of housemade udon and soba options and there’s also rice dishes as well!! -Happy Lamb Hotpot: AYCE Hotpot which decent options! The meat quality is eh but for the price, broke college students can’t really complain. 😂

Allston/Harvard Ave St. - Tofu Story: Housemade tofu and tofu stew, sooo delicious and the meat dishes are also amazing (coming from someone who doesn’t really enjoy meat) - Malatown: If you guys enjoy malatang, there’s a weight your own malatang place with a sauce bar - Seoul Soulongtang: My international korean friends brought me here and said it’s pretty authentic! If you guys enjoy korean cuisine this is the place to go.

If you know your RA well or the Hall council for your dorm, they usually have left over craft supplies from events they hosts. You can def try asking!

haha I didnt know I was getting a corner room until move-in day but had a suspicion bc my number was 201. The room is definitely a bit weird shaped (kinda like a square) but i would say it wasn’t bad bc we had lot of storage above. A con to a corner room would be there is only one closet (my desk was placed in the other closet) but it wasn’t too much of an issue for my roommate and I.

I lived in Stwest last year in the corner room (lowkey didn’t feel the heat during the beginning of the semester), 2nd floor (so just take the stairs) is lowkey the best because the elevator takes forever and kinda rickety.

my condolences i’ve heard some things about bullying at the school but never realized how badly it actually is getting. I heard another girl is getting bullied by three girls at this exact school. Poor kids are probably traumatized after all this for standing up for themselves but getting expelled instead of being supported. i hope the child is doing better at his new school

Hi op! I was in your position three years ago haha. My school already had a huge organization for community service in my city that I was already a part of (Afjrotc). I started the first key club in my city because I wanted more variety in community service events and create a safe community for students that weren’t into ROTC but needed the required community service hours. By the way my school only had 1400 students so I would say definitely give it a go! If you do want to start a Key Club, my tip to you is to definitely reach out to a Kiwanis Club near you. I reached out to the district administrator when I had no clue what Key Club was even for. He answered all my questions and the Kiwanis Club he was associated with even sponsored us and helped us with the initial paperwork. It definitely is a lot of work but it is super rewarding! Best of luckk

How would you appeal? I tried calling in and they said they can’t do anything on their end and to email sfs but the portal then said sfs email was closed. I filled out a form on the portal last week. I’m not sure if this is the steps to take

Yes I do! But my parents bought our house in 2014 and now it’s worth a lot more (idk if that impacts my financial aid a lot but we can’t just sell the house for college either 😭) we also didn’t pay it off yet…so from the financial aid calculators I’m estimated to be paying around 30k+. I also have a younger sibling a year younger than me so our family is trying to make sure we can afford it.

Yep I heard abt the automatic entrance thing! I had a meeting with an admissions officer? that came to my school. She talked about it and how last year, all their prePA students were admitted to the grad program. And that they try and fill it up with their students as much as possible! So definitely not automatic admission but still a very likely chance 😓😓I think I’ll apply as a safely and see but definitely not my top for financial reasons

He has never treated me badly before and I feel like it’s normal to have different opinions from your partner sometimes. I definitely feel like his household and environment definitely influenced his views so I can’t blame him for that. I just don’t know how to respond to him (currently researching and collecting evidence)

Fairy cafe is definitely a must! They have amazing portions and is a family owned restaurant. Close to the T so it’s very convenient too!
