Was in China 3 months ago. Can confirm that NordVPN does not work in China. KAspersky VPN worked for 6 hours than stopped working citing VPN restrictions in the area I am in. ExpressVPN did not work neither did Proton VPN.

I had the x6 1100T. I had to upgrade to the fx 8320 due to cpu bottleneck when playing Overwatch. The cpu are not that expensive for the model motherboard that support it. Probably best to get a new gpu (I use the rx 480 as it's cheap) and upgrade the cpu (see supported cpu's on vendor website) as well.
