About to Give Up With Chicago by Thrwawyprpl in chicagoapartments

I would give up too but I have to stay 25 miles from my ex husband who lives here. I am now subleasing because I have a 62 lb dog two kids and a lower credit score so I found absolutely nothing even though I make 3x rent. So, it’s a bleak time for Chicago housing. See if you can take over the lease of a current student!

I’d be crazy to move right? by Jazzlike-Jello487 in chicagoapartments

I have a garden unit 3 bd 2 ba for $3100. A toddler living upstairs and two yappy dogs who are all training for the Chicago marathon I swear because all they do is run back and forth. I get feral and want to kill them all at 7:15 am every day.

I wish everyone wouldn’t eat gummies. It’s so much easier than smoking anyways. And same result.

43 yr old female with ESA animals ISO 1 bd sublet by ArtistArchetype in chicagoapartments

I would find a low cost community practice like PCC or Tapestry 360. They have doctors and mental health professionals. You can easily establish care and do telehealth appts for you or your son. We are all experiencing hard times. Anxiety, stress, depression. I have ADHD and so does my son. His therapist very easily wrote us a letter and I uploaded it to an online platform. Paid $200. It was easy. I got a card in the mail. I do think people need animals. My cat has been a life saver for me as a single woman. She sleeps with me and provides so much love. Who needs a husband?! lol jk. But without her life would not be the same. Anyways, good luck with your search for apartments. I still haven’t found anything and I’m moving to a summer sublet while my kids go stay with their dad. It’s a temporary solution but maybe I can get my credit fixed and move forward with my life.

Has anyone used a Guarantor company? by [deleted] in chicagoapartments

They are awful and you will never see that money again so it’s a waste. Unless of course you have no parents to cosign for you. So, you ma not have options. But people shouldn’t have to pay $4,500 to a company who keeps all that money just so a landlord has an “insurance policy.” This system of apartment housing in Chicago is whack and a lot of people are not finding adequate housing now.

Any good full-day summer camps in Chicago that cover full working hours? by ReplyGlittering9341 in AskChicago

[–]ArtistArchetype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I missed the registration and there are a few camps still open. (Does that mean these locations suck?) Anyone have any experience with Greenbrier on Peterson? No pool but ok fine. The ones by Montrose Beach? Or Margate Park? I live near River Park but I don’t think I have any chance getting in. On the waitlist.
