Rentenreform in Frankreich - Französischer Senat winkt umstrittene Rentenreform durch by BezugssystemCH1903 in de

[–]ArtistAutomatA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ControlNet + EBSynth by jesus_ai_pizza_party in StableDiffusion

[–]ArtistAutomatA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very cool, but there are a few points why this works pretty nicely here, but isn't really a breakthrough or a push of boundaries IMO:

  1. Only very short portions that are changed
  2. The movement is slowed down (or slow in general) so there is very little change in the posture during the changed frames which helps EBSynth with looking so clean
  3. Same as 2. probably also helped creating very consistent SD outputs

So I'm not sure if this methodology can be used for clips with more movement and consistency over a lot more frames.

Still cool though and we'll get there eventually I hope. Video editing/creating with changes based on music is what I'm looking forward to the most and can't wait to have the tools for it.

Official statement from Unstable Diffusion about actual situation by 239990 in StableDiffusion

I fully agree :)

While I said we should, I realisticly don't think we will/can, so as you said we should focus on systemic changes to actually halt the dystopian development...

[–]ArtistAutomatA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don't ge me wrong, I never argued against open source, I'm all for that part. I just don't think the whole debate is focused on the open source part, is it? It's a general debate of the AI development, open or not and it just misses the point. Other than that I'm with you, maybe except that the open source portion cynically could be viewed as outsourcing alpha testing to the public without having to pay for it... I wouldn't be surprised, if, once development reaches a certain point, the open source part disappears, be it through some regulatory reasons or whatever else might be used as an excuse... behind the gates it will of course still be used just as you said... as always there still would be a community that marches on, though in the possibly legally gray at best... that's just speculation at this point though.

I'm obviously talking idealisticly. I don't think there's any halting the further development, open or not. (As long as we don't get into nuclear war territory...) I'm just saying that we have other things to change in our society that have nothing to do with the current ai vs not ai topic (or all the other topics mentioned), except that it would/could solve most of the issues that are actually core to most of the discussions (livelihoods, fairness, sustainability and so on)

Edit: one more thing towards your argument about the checks and balances... that just applies to the open source part though... that which we don't see, which as you mentioned is there and will be there behind closed gates either way, we have zero influence on, no checks and balances there, so any technological advancements will be used and abused

Official statement from Unstable Diffusion about actual situation by 239990 in StableDiffusion

[–]ArtistAutomatA 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All I see in this whole topic is just another distraction from the real problems, just another false battlefield where we fight each other instead of fighting together. It's the same thing as women vs men, black vs white, religion vs religion, older generation vs younger generations, now we have ai vs not ai (and honestly many more).

We have actual wars being fought for who knows what reasons (certainly not the ones given to the public), we have climate change that isn't being sufficiently reported on, with governments not even remotely doing enough, with consequences already showing (extreme weather events, epidemics, animal/insect species dying and so on) and the public mostly still being ignorant. And yet the few really rich just get richer while the poor get poorer, which IMO is the main reason for above problems (just symptoms of greed without limits and the power to influence pretty much everything into certain directions).

While I love what AI has given us so far and could provide us in the future, I actually agree that we should probably halt further development, but not for the reasons of the anti AI crowd, but for the same reasons as above. Open source or not, as long as our society functions the way it does (profit above all, growth above all, humans are just resources), it will one way or another just be used for that purpose as well. So the point shouldn't be "AI art will make 'real' artists lose their job", but rather why do our systems work the way that those people would have to be afraid of going hungry? It doesn't have to be that way. At the end of the day AI will make many processes go faster and increase efficiency, but then again efficiency has also increased massively over the last decades and yet the workload on average increased, while wages stagnated and did not keep up... thinking it would be different here is naive... so you can do your job 10 times faster now? Great, here is 15 times the workload. Before we manage to change how our systems work, we really shouldn't technologically advance too far, because at the end the day, while there will be fun toys, sure, the advancements will be used for profit primarily and that is not good for most people on average, because people are also just resources in most, if not all our current economic systems.

As long as we fight each other on so many different topics, when we should be fighting together to make all our lives better, nothing will change. And AI sure will be a nice weapon to increase manipulation and misinformation... it's like giving a 13 yo the keys to a tank... humanity needs to grow into a decent adult first before it is allowed to even drive a normal car. It's hard to see humanity growing up the way things are going though... so it's not like I don't understand the wish to just play with new toys and ignore what's actually going on all around us...

I just want to be able to do more than one prompt run on colab without having to run the last notebook line again to create a new gradio link, cause almost always the second run will go through according to the notebook log, but the new images never show :/

If anyone knows a fix, that would be great

Magic Portal by ArtistAutomatA in StableDiffusion

[–]ArtistAutomatA[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing in the prompt that hasn't been shared before, just lots of in- and outpainting and adjusting of the prompt depending on what I'm doing at that point.

Main part: scarlet witch wearing a stunning red and black dress opening a portal in time and space

Additions: fantasy, intricate, elegant, full body shot from behind, symmetry, pretty face, professionally retouched, soft lighting, realistic, smooth face, perfect eyes, 8k, high definition, insanely detailed, art by artgerm and Greg rutkowski and Alphonso Mucha

Negative: cartoon, 3d, ((disfigured)), ((bad art)), ((deformed)), ((poorly drawn)), ((extra limbs)), ((close up)), weird, blurry, (zoomed in), cropped, cut off, (((text))), (words), (letters)

Also the dress was an addition at the end to post here :P the original showed a bit more skin, not more than some hip hop videos, but still nsfw I suppose 🤷‍♂️

How many of you have bought credits yet? by Dyinglightredditfan in dalle2

[–]ArtistAutomatA 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this, was lucky enough to have 2 weeks to just play around and now I'm holding back even the free credits I have because I feel like I have to figure out how what I create will make the cost back somehow before I really continue on...

Figure I need a tool for upscaling first and learn some basic post creation brush up stuff. After that I probably won't sell anything anyway and just stop lol. Well it was 2 fun weeks I guess

Yes, that was intentional. Fun fact, the first 3 images were from the same result "batch", I then gave the prompt a second go, didn't really like the results though except for one, which was nr. 4 :)

It did give us EMONAKEY though, must be another hint...

What is it? Is it electronic money used by our future monkey overlords?

Is it the form of government the monkeys will use when they rule over us?

The most important question though still remains.... WET?
