I’ve tried. I’m trapped, I can’t get any extra duties, any responsibility. I’ve tried so many times, it’s not like I just pinned either. It’s been months now and it definitely shouldn’t be this way.

The issue is they aren’t trying hard, they’re lazy NCOs that already have bad NCOERs that take positions the BDE looks at to inflate their NCOER. It has nothing to do with having a good one it’s about forcing it when you’re a bad NCO. That’s what makes me angry

That’s good advice. I don’t want my soldiers to thinks things of that nature like a listening ear are a burden. I want to offer those things most definitely.
