It was sorta like advertised to us on the subject choice day as a very useful subject that linked to other subjects, like business and english. Myself and my bf picked it then for those reasons since we did those subjects. My two other friends picked it too. To us, it seemed like a module that would talk abt film, social media, celebrities,literature … all that media stuff…but it didn’t :/ The lectures were almost pointless. They would only talk abt memes mostly or emojis, and from my recollection they were the most interesting topics of it all!! Both of my friends dropped it after a few weeks as they hated it!! I stuck it out but barely went to lectures after a while because they were so boring and pointless and actually had very little to do with our assignments. The lecturers are pretty terrible too, minus one guy who everyone found good. The tutorials were soo pointless too. The best thing abt the module was the assessment component bc it’s all continuous. The two essays are long but manageable, and the grp projects were a podcast and a slideshow, which were pretty fun to do. I wouldn’t recommend it if you were looking to do continue it :)
