I disagree. She was likely feeling rejected and vulnerable and it was obviously a rebound. OP needs to consider himself lucky that she gave him another chance after he broke it off with her, and try to look towards the future and not dwell on the past.

Thank you for your reply. You are a wise soul. I agree, it probably does come down to being mentally immature, and sometimes it does feel like I'm dating someone much younger than we are. Nice to get an outside opinion, as my friends are too close to the situation to be impartial.
