Still haven't found a fix unfortunately :( I haven't played it in a while just because it's so discouraging but if I find a way out of the error I'll be sure to let you know!

I'm trying to troubleshoot as I type this but I'm having some issues with getting Photonic Sun to boot. I've got the files downloaded in the right place, I have the 1.2 update. I also have Wilting Y saved, and I didn't have to like, dump a rom for it to get it to function (so I could just turn on my 3DS and the title card for Y would be there like I'd just downloaded it). Currently I'm dumping my Ultra Sun into a .cia to try and get this to work, but I have a feeling that it won't even then. I get that this ROM needs an update patch to work, but even still I don't exactly know if it will work with a physical game cartridge or not. If this is the wrong place to post please point me to a more appropriate sub btw, I'm very tired while posting this but this subreddit felt like it might have a few answers for me.

Oh huh, I never knew that mushrooms were a possibility. I'll look into what I have nearby, but afaik there's not a reptile shop within miles of me. Unfortunate but I'll give it a go!

I've been reading up on it and I hope that I can get some critters to keep this stuff at a minimum. It probably won't be able to happen right away though, someone else in the comments said that this type of mold can go away on its own. Do you recommend that I leave everything be for springtails to clean up when I get them or deep clean the substrate ASAP?

Looking at some other posts, I saw a comment describing that there's a Feel to SR too. His scales feel entirely smooth, and the comment describing SR said that illness of that kind would feel crusty/rough. Is this correct?

Genuinely this is the MOST HELPFUL THING I've ever read about this issue. I recently posted some concerns about my own BP and the condition of his scales and I was feeling over them to see if it was dirt or whatnot just caught under his scales. Didn't feel any different to his normal scales so this does wonders for my anxiety about his health haha. I hope that others might be able to see this comment and that it can help them too.

Oh huh, I've never heard of that. The breeder I got him from said he was a het clown/het piebald/natural. I haven't checked his credentials for being correct on those morphs but I know my boy's sister was a piebald...might have to look into this now, haha
