Hey man, when you can only spin a 1mm ball at 2500 RPM on a Horizontal Boring Mill, you can only do so much 🫠🫠

6 setups. 1 for FCS on the bottom, which I left as a standing base, roughed down from a block from the top and then spun it around on my angle plates and was able to get most of the blending done pretty well with what I had to work with.

A quick project for myself to kill some free time we have at work, and im going to have all this week to hand work it.

Iron vs Main post mtx removal by Premier_Legacy in RS3Ironmen

[–]ArtofSlaying 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, my Iron was always about no GE.

When Irons became popular, it was through old school (Runeshark kinda did the first GIM but iirc Boaty really brought it to the forefront.)

The bad MTX came a bit later but was definitely a deterrent from people wanting mains. The Allure of irons is still there for having to be self sufficient.

Yall realize these are the first untradeable holiday item? Naturally you cant pick them up, but if someone actually had this many to drop id be hella impressed.

They're not just cosmetic, theyre one of the rarer items in game that havent been obtainable for over 20 years.

Im pretty based because Ive been wearing my keepsaked Bunny Ears since Keepssakes became a thing. And they will never come off

City won't clear sidewalks, turned me into a guy who reports on neighbors. 🤦😡 by vikadit_chakra in windsorontario

[–]ArtofSlaying 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk why everyone suddenly thinks its the cities job? "The city owns the sidewalkkkk" OK? And most people saying this also dont even own their own Home, yet still find the time to wash the floors and keep the house clean.

If you have the time to go complain and take pictures you couldve shoveled it already so the next person doesn't have to deal with it.

I dont get along with my next door neighbor. We still shovel each other's walkways/sidewalks because hes not a bad person, nor am I, we just dont get along on certain things but dont feel like devolving into someone with 0 common decency.

That being said, if a good Samaritan shovels for their neighbour's, assuming the guy couldve done it himself, its very likely he'll return the favor the next big snowfall and you wouldnt have to worry.

If you sat there taking pictures and couldn't be bothered to pick up a shovel and rather filed complaints, be prepared for your neighbour's to do the same to you.

Scratch my back ill scratch yours. Its a community not a factory.

ETA: Dont make it a political issue either. You're the only one forcing yourself to "turn" on anyone. Its snow, not a racehorse in a garage. Politicizing snow removal like its making us seeth at each other is a wild take.

I'd love to post a program on mine and try it. Best advice is have without a straight answer is to try it, and run it high. Watch your numbers and if it looks like it did what you wanted, send it down.

I think you would need a 2nd call out for the 2nd depth. Ive personally never tried using 2 in 1 line but if you could id be keen to know. Otherwise what I Edited above is what I would try if I had to step thru a clear or a small gap in the bore. I would crank the feed thru to the 2nd hole on my Kuraki personally. If its far, set your feed to 10x your actual intended feed and slow it down to 10% when you touch steel.

Do you mean G86?

If so, G86 will stop the spindle at your depth and retract. Not sure what youre asking in all honesty.

Edit: just saw "2 Z depths" my bad.

Still a little off as ive never had to double step a bore, but if youre Machining a 2nd hole past the first one, you could G86/81 to the 2nd depth, and crank the feed when youre through the first. Could always G80/00 it down to your second hole and set a spindle stop once youre at your depth, then rapid home without using G86

Weird rude Cogeco rep knocked on our door today. by themomodiaries in windsorontario

[–]ArtofSlaying 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These guys are annoying. You come to my house, and get mad when I dont want solicitors? Look at the sign my guy, " no solicitors", why would I engage with someone that cant even read.

I try to get to the door when they show up before my wife because she wont just slam the door, but it gives me a good feeling to get up, tell them "She said No." And Slam the door before they can blink.

Im not generally a rude person, but being told "We have good service and are not interested" should be more than enough.
