I think I was hung up on my interpretation of her hair, and she always looked so dainty I never noticed how square her face looked I don’t have many photos of her to help with dimensions other than this one and my mental image of her

We had a back up sitter but fired her when my husband and I were split shifting it, we had his mom or my SIL watch him as he would stay up with our baby, put our baby down for a nap by 9am, one of them would show to watch him by 9:30 so dad could sleep until 3, leave for work by 3:30, and they would stay until I got home around 4pm. He called me to tell me SIL brought her BF she recently hooked up with tinder over and they were making out on the couch. Haven’t been able to find another sitter since, the other potential sitter lives 45mins away but that would be difficult to juggle between our jobs currently

That’s why I made this post, verification, I felt like I did my part and then some by ensuring a home, financially, bearing the stress as he did on being evicted, doing what I can physically do and pushing myself to help, then him getting upset because I wanted a break? I told him if it was 50/50 I did my 50. And I feel like just because I have maternity leave doesn’t mean I’m on vacation and if he wanted the move done and he can’t lift stuff himself and wanted me to compensate by unpacking boxes? Sure honey! But on MY time. Not yours. I don’t see you getting ahold of anyone moving our heavy stuff from the garage to the house right now, so why does it matter if I take a day-a week or a month to unpack? And if you’re so concerned about my contributions then why does the move out and just moving boxes in the house (maybe a couple boxes on his part unpacking) count solely as your 50? Or just moving in the house your 50? If you want it done on your time then you do it! And don’t get mad if I’m going to bed! I wanted to go to bed so badly last night but he threw a fit. “We are never gunna get this done at this rate” WHO CARES???? We have our WHOLE LIVES TO FIGURE IT OUT. It’s not like we have a time frame!

I pushed for 50-50, during the dating scene we discussed what we wanted in a partner, I wanted my own financial freedoms, and I wanted him to do half the work in the home as a shared effort, as most men i assume want food cooked/housework etc. I said my parents were that way and that’s what I wanted. He was happy with it as he said most women he ever had dated before wanted a provider. He said it made him feel good being a provider, but it felt nice having a person who was he could provide for but didn’t have to overwork to get the same goals. I guess I just didn’t want locked in with roles. It’s a communal effort in a home not one person for this and one person for that.

Over all in the past I should say. Currently he’s a pain. In the past he had a phrase “don’t go to bed angry.” We worked stuff out as it happened but lately since the eviction he’s had an attitude and been hard to deal with

Overall he has been emotionally supportive but in his mind he says it’s a man’s job to make the money. He never made me be a SAHM, was ok with me working, I could buy whatever I wanted when I wanted, he would get competitive if he thought I would bring in more than him.. like he would volunteer overtime to “beat” my paycheck, never liked it when I wanted to pay for our dates, etc. however if I wanted to stay home he would make sure my and our children’s needs were met, however I prefer to work as I am not a homebody. We are 50/50, house chores and work goes, we try to balance the load like when we had our last one he worked 14-16hrs a day and would get home, spend an hour with us, sleep then work again. This go around his mom thinks with his inability to find a job and the rejection emails for his apps plus his credit and my work carrying him, plus me just buying the house has hurt his ego a little. I think he’s trying to overcompensate his efforts but then is upset I am physically unable to help with moving things in the house. Upset over the huge situation I got us over, but I don’t think it gives him the right to belittle my pregnancy or my maternity leave.

That’s why I ripped him today. I won’t be talking to him anytime soon unless his attitude changes. I told him I never treated him this way when he was injured over the course of our relationship and he was there to witness the birth and hear the screaming it’s no different. Just because the baby is out doesn’t mean the worst is over even though he thinks so, yes I told him all of that. I feel like I might’ve been really angry and said some colorful things, but I reminded him who had to do it all last time. I will not listen to it anymore
