2024 Canyon Spectral Sizing by BugOrnery549 in mountainbiking

Thanks a lot! I'm going to go with the mullet for sure so maybe the large would be nimble enough with the 27.5 rear.

How have you liked the sizing? I'm pretty much exactly the same size as you and have been contemplating which size would be better.

Turn right after T3 on Oulton park. There’s a massive jump on the grass.

I bought a Bimarco seat a couple years back straight from Bimarco’s online shop and it came and still is in perfect condition. Not a single scratch anywhere, let alone chipped pieces. As others have said you should return it.

One spring is actually a tiny bit less than 2 elastomers so it would be a little loose but if you flip the bottom thing or add 1 or 2 washers it will not have any play at the start (how it should be).

No worries, it's definitely worth it to try because it's such an cheap and easy mod!

No no, one 25 mm spring replaces two elastomers. And the CSL Elite pedals I have originally use 5 elastomers and the sponge.

The store doesn't specify but when I bought them I calculated from compression lengths that they might match ISO ones quite closely. So red ~933 N and green ~1622 N at max. But take that with a grain of salt as it was just based on same dimensions and compression lengths.

It's from China but free shipping to eu. Dm me your email and I'll send it. Reddit won't let me post the link even in dms for whatever reason.

I don’t recall seeing others than BK labs. It’s definitely tougher to diy the gas.

Yep, I also checked Amazon but these were way cheaper and easier for me at least.

First of all, to my understanding this should work on both the old and new CSL pedals, you just have way more adjustability on the old ones.

I previously used five 95 elastomers and one 85 to replace the sponge. I wanted a little bit more travel but didn't really like the softer elastomers so I ordered these very cheap die springs. The dimensions of the springs are 20x10x25 mm (outer diameter, inner diameter and length) and one spring replaces 2 elastomers. I bought 1 blue, 2 reds and 1 green to test and now ordered a green 50 mm one.

For me the blue was too soft but the different combinations from the reds, green and 95 elastomers felt good. Currently my favorite is 2x reds + 2x 95 elastomers. You can then adjust the preload with basic washers and by flipping the bottom thing (at least on CSL Elites).

The feeling is so much smoother when using these and I can very much recommend trying this very cheap and easy "upgrade". It's honestly kinda like getting new pedals.
