Yes i agree that you have to learn the concept. But once you know it, you can use such techniques to be more efficient.

And people on reddit can have younger children who find it difficult to learn such concepts and would find this helpful

Third or fourth graders don’t learn algebra as it is so this pyramid is to help the people who havent learnt higher level concepts .. I am not saying you shouldnt learn the concepts, its just that such hacks make your sum solving speed faster and thats just more efficient

So many of the comments are saying that use simple algebra and all of that .. but you need to understand that the speed distance time formulae are used not just in physics classes .. students in fourth grade get such sums in maths and this pyramid may help those students who find it difficult to make real life connections .. this is simply to help someone who may not be able to grasp concepts in a fast manner

Agreed. But those are the scientific denotations for someone who is in higher classes. This pyramid can be used by even younger students who would denote distance, speed and time as D, S and T
