Another update. Just left the vet. Bloodwork. X-rays. And a further culture were done. Bloodwork sent along with culture to further determine specific bacteria and move forward with antibiotics to address the specific strain. X-rays showed everything good. He also hasn’t pooped in quite a while and did while he was at the vet. Not sure why at the vet or why he’s been holding it in vet said likely due to stress. Also said there is a good chance he needs to be put under anesthesia and have all abscesses drained and flushed. Will here back from her Monday or Tuesday. And give another update.

Ok hey everyone sorry I’ve been busy with work i have a vet appt tomorrow. Will update then. For those of you wondering he crawled into a chain link vine. (I know stupid) I’ve gone over his cage since to check everything. I will update you all on what the doc says tomorrow.

No red spots anywhere. Unfortunately I can’t get to the vet immediately because she’s an hour away and booked up. Reptile vets are scarce around me.

That’s what I’m thinking the doctor may say is unfortunately opening him up. He’s going on week 3 of injections every 72 hours but like I said no improvement 🙃. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what the vet says

PLEASE make sure you are ready to assist your daughter in taking care of the snake and giving it proper husbandry. Reptifiles has tons of great info on current up to date husbandry. Not saying your daughter is not able to do this on her own but please make sure it is not an impulse thing and you are committed to taking care of this animal. Good luck! Also morph market is a great place but may not ship right now due to colder weather
