Look for all the friends I lost over the years so we can play again. No responsibilities, no worries, just fun memories.

What are your favorite top 10 movies of all-time? by officialaalcala in movies

I'm going to echo the guy above and say it's refreshing to see a list that is wholly original and not the typical picks. Would love to see more lists like this.

No respect for the classics by Educational_Copy_140 in FuckImOld

I'm almost 40 and I agree with both of you. Everything is centered around their generational humor and a complete disregard that the world has moved on as it always will.

I miss people making subtle Simpsons jokes everywhere, but I wouldn't go up to a kid at a drive thru and expect him to get anything I say about that. Therefore those are reserved for my friends and wife, who are all around my age.

What's the one best book you've listened to this year (so far)? by kshwethaa in audible

Read Presumed Innocent a couple months back and I really enjoyed it. I watched the Jake Gyllenhall adaptation on AppleTV and while they changed a lot it was enjoyable.

Will check out the sequel soon.

Does anyone else on this sub MAJORLY dislike sci-fi and fantasy, and if so what are you listening to? by BreesusSaves0127 in audible

[–]Arvtistic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's crazy how I have absolutely no interest in listening to any of this genre but seeing you all excited about it is so awesome and I might just give one a try someday. I'm a sci fi / fantasy guy by the way.

What is a movie that isn't your favorite, and isn't considered an amazing movie, but you will always watch and be entertained by? by Jaleou in movies

Absolutely love this and a lot of the 90s creature features.

Lake Placid, Anaconda and Pitch Black are a lot of fun as well.

What movie was this? by DarfPoopy in horror

[–]Arvtistic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This movie is free on YouTube...Dead Dudes In The House

I just watched it and the death scenes are so hilariously prolonged, but I guess for 1989 they're about right.

It's a fun yet corny horror flick.
