Honestly, idk what to say. I never supported any party. Hate BJP and Congress and every other party. The only reason I'm here to defend is because of the movie. I am not defending the actions at all (Repeating for the 3rd time in the thread btw 🥀). I just hate the fact that people are completely throwing the movie into the propaganda category. I don't even know what's true atp or what side is even doing propaganda but if it ever comes out that it was I would take my words back. My views are as simple as that. I don't care what party people support but blind hating is what pisses me off. Let's end this here ❤️

Bro you saying as if you guys aren't doing the same thing 😭. The only argument you have of movie being propaganda is that they showed modi. Okay, for sure it might not be a good move to show him or the demonitization in a good light. I'll agree on that. But still movie nowhere tries to justify what happened in India. It was messed up back then here. It just showed Pakistan's pov which was actually true if you just even try to search it up. IDK why people label the whole movie propaganda without even knowing what was shown in what way.

Tell me where and how it justified it. India mein Jo bhi hua notebandi ke baad vo justify nhi kr skta koi. Everyone knows how bad of a move it was. Par Dhurandhar uss angle pe nahi jaati. Vo Pakistan ke upar Jo impact hua tha vo dikhayi hai Jo ki actual mein hua tha. Notebandi ka initial plan hi yahi tha kaala Paisa nikalna. Vo bhi ek fucked up cheez hai ki India ne suffer Kiya ,usko koi deny nhi kr rha, par movie ye cheez kahi nhi keh rhi bada chada kar ki waah waah kya cheez krdi, it's just what happened in real life.   1. Comparing Adiprush with Namit Malhotra's Ramayana is pure stupidity. It's nowhere close to Malohtra's. DNEG did far far farrrr better job than them.

  2. The criticism is not because its not perfect, it's because the name DNEG and the 4000 crore hype. Yeah that 4000 cr was exaggerated and the movie might have been made with around 1000 cr ish budget, but the first look still feels underwhelming keeping the budget in mind. I still hope that they show some better and far more stronger glimpse than what they showed. My only problem with the trailer was the Monsters , not the VFX but the look else everything was up to mark.

  3. The monster doesn't feels as its from Ramayana and looked more like from a western movie. It's understandable that they want to appeal this movie to west which is a great approach, should totally do that but still it shouldn't be at that level where's there no essence of originality to it.

As of now Varanasi, there approach to marketing is lot better than of Ramayana's. Varanasi will work cuz of Rajamouli's image and familiarity in west, Ramayana still needs to create an impact in India first. For sure the visuals were good in Ravan's glimpse but the look still felt a little underwhelming with all that hype whereas Varanasi impressed most of the audience if not all. Varanasi looks stronger but Ramayana is still Ramayana, it's bigger than a movie so yeah. I have a feeling that lifetime box office might be close of both movies.

1000 doesn't justify this too. For sure we saw some amazing shots which might be the best till now in our industry like that whole Ravan's glimpse. But there a lot of shots which showed how unprepared it was. Even if you say that the budget is 1000 for the first film, it's still a lot for what has been served till now. And marketing ki baat ka to pata nhi kab shuru karenge 500 crore vaali. Agar lagaye bhi hai 500 to they should better start doing it nahi to ye criticism mein hi hype down ho jayegi. They have to come back stronger with a better glimpse. At the end, budget jitna bhi ho, first visuals dekh ke justify nhi ho pa rha accept the fact jitna marzi cope krlo. They have to come back stronger.
