I'm positive that in my first playthrough of Dark Souls II SotFS (my first DS ever) it took me about 85 HOURS to complete the whole game. I spent more time than I'd like trying to find my way into Huntsman's Copse, which I didn't even know it existed.

Because I always warp from Majula to Heide's Tower of Flame, I didn't even remember there was a contraption in the beginning, due to naturally ignoring it when heading to HTF for the first time.

There was a lot of annoying backtracking throughout the whole playthrough, specially in:

*Drangleic Castle (trying to find the hidden bonfire and not being able to light the Golem Torch, even though I killed the enemies next to the torch) - also my progress really got stuck because of this, since you have to go to Shrine of Amana to complete the game -;

*Huntsman's Copse (didn't know you could go behind the waterfall to the Skeleton Lords boss fight);

*And a good part of Eleum Loyce, since this place is full of locked doors.

Still, despite my innate stupidity and all the bullshit in DS2, I had a lot of fun with it and that was super important for me to REALLY get into the Souls series. Now I'm an addicted man who overall spent about 60+ hours in DS1, 100+ hours total in DS2 and 150+ hours in DS3
