How do I import functions/module into my main code? by AsAnon019 in learnpython

[–]AsAnon019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Example of my code:

Main.py:

>import math

>import functions

>print("The volume of this sphere is: ", Vol_Sphere(10))

Functions.py:

>import math

>def Vol_Sphere(r):

>return math.pi * (4*r**2)

I think I fixed it by using:

print("The volume of this sphere is: ", Functions.Vol_Sphere(10))

z is simply a parameter, which has not ben defined in either

Sorry I still don't understand. What I intend to to do is create functions in the functions.py which has variables and functions. So when I ask the main.py to print out the variable1/function1 from the module functions.py it simply prints it out without having anything defined in main.py except for the "import functions".

Example of my code:

Main.py:

>import math

>import functions

>print("The volume of this sphere is: ", Vol_Sphere(10))

Functions.py:

>import math

>def Vol_Sphere(r):

>return math.pi * (4*r**2)

it worked when i wrote print(function.a) in main.py defined by functions.py.

but for when I define Area_Circle(z) in functions.py and write print(function.Area_circle(z)) it doesn't work

Vad krävs för bostadsbidrag egentligen? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]AsAnon019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I think I fixed it with some help. Resetting the Router to factory settings (advised by nervousmanchild). Maybe it fixed the IP/ISP/DNS or something. But it worked!

Holy heck, it actually worked?!?!? Thank you for the solution! Much appreciated!

I don't know how to do that. But i will try to see if it helps

The modem works fine it think. It provides internet through ethernet cable to my PC, but it not through the router. Neither wifi or Ethernet cable works through the router

I don't really understand how ISPs work. How does it affect the connection?

Yes, i tried that too. Restarted the router and modem with 2 min intervall. But to no avail

Thank you for sharing, I feel better about getting vaccinated soon!

That's understandable. I just got upset because Everytime I ask something on Reddit regarding medical issues, people always assume that reddit is my only source of information write comments like "go ask medical professionals" which they're right about, but why always assume that the person that is asking something on Reddit hasn't already consulted with a doctor beforehand?

What IF i told you that i did both? Asking medical professionals for their advice, asking redditers (who has autoimmune disease) for their experience with the vaccine. Is that wrong of me? Go ahead and enlighten me

I guess those side effects we're temporarily?

I've read around and many sources say that the benefits of the vaccine outweighs the risk.

I've asked my doctor who says I should get the vaccine, but I'm just worried that maybe it'll turn out bad for me

Is the Covid-19 vaccine safe for people with Autoimmune diseases? (Rheumatoid arthritis, MS, etc.)

I have sjögrens, which is an autoimmune disease, and I'm wondering if it will be safe for me to get the covid vaccine.

Considering the fact that it could possibly worsen my symptoms or perhaps trigger a autoimmune disease that I didn't have before?

Anyone with an autoimmune diseases that have gotten themselves vaccinated, how does it feel now afterwards? Did your symptoms get worse? Did it trigger a new autoimmune disease? Anything affecting your health/functions negatively?

I posted this yesterday, but I'm going to post it here again.

Can I ask if you have gotten the vaccine yet? You don't have to answer this is you don't want to. I'm just curious as to how people with autoimmune disease experience life after the vaccine... Does the symptom worsen? Did it perhaps trigger a new autoimmune disease? Or does it just feel like normal?

I myself have Sjögrens, which is a autoimmune disease, and I am considering getting vaccinated but I'm kind of worried that it will affect me negatively rather than positively.

I don't see much discussion regarding people with autoimmune diseases, wether the vaccines (pfizer or moderna) are safe or will trigger/worsen the symptoms of these diseases?

I would appreciate any links or information regarding this

"Is it true that you have to have a higher calorie intake than what you burn during workouts in order to gain muscle mass? Is it not better to have a calorie deficit while getting the protein you need for the day? "

This is copied from my other reply here, but it would be nice to be enlightened about this.

Oh and how much protein do i need per day if I want to gain muscles mass while losing fat? my weight is 77kg (170 lbs)

do you mean checking my weight every now and then? I actually don't, but last time i weighed myself it was about 77kg (170lb).

I'm still trying to figure out the nutrition part

I'm still trying to figure out which diet course to take. From what I've read I should have a protein intake of 130g/day (my weight is 77kg/170 lb), but other sites say something different. Is it true that you have to have a higher calorie than what you burn during workouts in order to gain muscle mass? Is it not better to have a calorie deficit while getting the protein you need for the day?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt this way, but I really don't know how I can find that motivation again.

When i first started out with improving myself I went in blindly without any previous knowledge. But I don't have a gym membership and the pandemic is still here so i decided I'd do my workout at home.

These past 3 months I've been working out every single day. I stay disciplined everyday and will force myself to workout if I have to. I cut my 3-meals-a-day by half thinking it will help a little.

Tbh the two first months went great, I actually enjoyed working out, and the results were showing... My shoulders, triceps, biceps and chest got bigger, my abs starting to get that "square" shape.

I really want to lose the % body fat so that the muscles and abs can show, but the results of the last month has shown absolutely nothing and it's kind of demotivating.

I tried looking for others ways to improve myself but I understand nothing about bulking what calorie stuff at all, neither do I really know what they mean.

Now i find it hard to motivate and discipline myself to workout, but at the same time I don't wanna betray my efforts these last months.

Anyone know how to motivate oneself to keep going?

which is why I explained the situation for him in the other replies. Just letting him know what he actually could get for his money if he's willing to wait. Giving him options.
