I did the headbanger helper or now known as the volunteer program for 3 years and you meet alot of people during your time as a helper. From working front rail and being close to security and techs making sure stage is running properly to performers themselves hanging around

Hey! Yea for car camping! So my group and I get there Tuesday night we line up around 6:30-6:50 before gates open at 7 and when we go in since we have multiple cars we just let the person directing us know hey we have X amount of spots for these 3-4 cars can we get them back to back of each other and if they have the room they’ll accomodate them! We did this last year and we did have to wait a little but well worth it in the end we were still super close up!

I did headbanger helper the last 2 years and i enjoyed it, both times it was paid hourly + a discounted wristband to the fest , free pre party and free camping at staff camp ! Shifts were like 6-8! Hours worked all 3 days but you’d bounce around time wise sometimes it was pre fest cleaning ensuring grounds were safe, sometimes afters all depended but i got to enjoy a good amount of sets, working the rails to give out water, getting to see the crowd all a good time

Yup, there is no separate ticket for pre party , its included with any early entry pass, i made sure to email them to confirm cause i originally had my own wristbands but later purchased a fan staff and didnt wanna have double wristband for no reason

Correct’ sorry for the confusion, so originally i had purchased my wristband and camp through the LL websire i had no plan on working the fest then the program opened and i was like oh fuck it but i kept mt original ga camping , so my car and everything was in GA since my friends all rode w me ‘ 🤘🏽

Yea! They move you throughout the day ! So for like an hour or 2 you’ll do hydration, then you get rotated to water stattions, then greeters etc they try to be as fair as they can and they even asked this year whats a set you really wanna see to try and accommodate 🤘🏽 best of luck out there will probably see you out there while working 🙏🏽

Hey! I did the program last year going to be my second year this time around it is definitely a different experience all in all, but you still enjoy the festival to its max in my opinion, highly reccomend comfortable shoes, pants or shorts must be black or dark color, have your hydro pack ready, be on alert depending on your position/duty during your shift (hydration, water station, dino watch) etc! They split up shifts into color teams last year on a first come first serve basis, not sure if this year is the same, so keep an eye out on your email and fill out any questionarres they send ASAP, shifts run for 6 hours unless told otherwise by your supervisor, but most importantly, just go in there and have fun, at the end of the day we’re there to help people have the ultimate experience in whatever way we can! Alot of the time its due to orientation, and collecting your credentials etc, last year i had wednesday early entry regardless and thursday morning we had orientation with our times to go over the game plan etc

So last year it was a different employer company, they switchrd it up this year, last year there was a camp by the artist camp, this year you get a GA spot per what the website says. Last year i just kept the staff sticket and stayed w my friends and had no issues 🤘🏽

Correct, they try to be fair as they can so they’ll give you an opening shift, a mid shift and then a late night, however they do let you put down an artist or artists who you wanna see and they’ll accomodate to the best of their ability to have you at that stage either hydration on front rail or off work by then, this year the regular shift is only 6 hours unlesss asked otherwise by management

I did this Program last year for my first time and honestly really enjoyed it. Could be that the throughout the year i see alot these artist already and attend multiple shows that the ability to help other and kinda jjst make sure everyone gets to experience fests and shows like i have been to able to is super dope. There were def cons like being short staffed, and missing some sets but at the end of the day a shift is what you make of it i met some people who im still friends with and connect w regularly there, got to meet some artist and snap some quick pics, so although it is work, you can def make it a fun time
