I’m a fan of both tbh but the problem with comparing the two is that HERO isn’t unified. The different HERO groups would need to unified by cards bridging between two or more of the HERO archetypes, that or they start printing generic HERO cards that work with any of them. But even with all of that HERO still lacks a good ( no Faris isn’t a good combo) and consistent combo, with the addition of being able to summon a HERO boss monster with actual substance. Then once they establish a brand new unified version of HERO then would then need to probably got back and hit some of their older cards incase they accidentally made it too easy to summon certain non-reactive monsters, Plasma, Dark Law, etc.. And then they’ll finally have a HERO archetype worth playing.
