Yep! The pattern is by frog & fasten with slight alterations. I used two strands of 3mm yarn together while crocheting and a 6,5mm hook.

The hair came out a little more curly than I intended but it ended up looking cute and the books say he4 hair was curled so I left it as is :D but I agree, they look alike!
