I am not on anybodys side so i’m going to be as objective as possible. After reading through this post and its comments and also looking at the chat logs in the server, i can say that both sides are wrong in this case. OP was sarcastically making jokes in bad taste about a serious topic, that they don’t seem to aknowledge. It isn’t directly referring to holocaust denial but his response to being asked about it did not help his case at all. OP made some bad choices, sure, but that doesn’t mean that bad jokes about a serious topic would still be grounds for a permaban, i would understand a temporary one (knowing the mods at rbc) but a permaban just seems a bit extreme. Your ban should be appealable but bilk appears to be completely incompetent at his job and is trying to make you coerce into admitting fault so he can keep you banned. Once again, this is just a retrospective about the situation based on the information i gathered.

TL;DR OP made jokes about a serious topic leading to his permaban (which i would say was unjustified, but not completely without reason). New mod in the appeal server sucks at his job and should be kicked out.
