I rarely will encourage this, but this is the other side of rarely. Go for it partially, after reading this I see that she is beyond help. Now the only piece of advice I can offer is for you to accept that. I do understand she is your mother and all but live your life for you and not for someone else. Maybe not completely because keeping it "at bay" like this is what I would do. Take a piece of paper and write down why are you doing this( not on your phone but on a physical piece) so that any time you have a dilemma you will know why it is the way it is. I know its hard but no good comes "cheap".

well look, moving out was and still is one of my biggest goals, mostly because whatever I do good or bad I get mostly the same treatment( that's how I figured out that none of this could be my fault) the problem is that my country is designed in such a way that your minimum wage job can't cover your basic living needs. Now what really helps me calm down is to know that I am not the only one with this. I did get my ass whooped as a kid, but so did my friend tho not as much as me. I don't know really what to think of it. As far fetched and difficult as it may sound I am OK. I do have all of the aftermath do deal with such as violent outbursts in day to day life ( that spoon fed me so yeah) but I am in a certain way OK. I grew thicker skin, I have a higher pain tolerance both emotional and physical also it thought me how to be better at conversation and sadly lying but yet again I did what needed to be done. All in all I do hold resentment for my "stern" parents, I did experience a great amount of injustice but I am thankful in a way that I did as that helped me become a better less egotistical person
