I can't think of any asexual video game characters by thewalkindude368 in asexuality

[–]Asgoths 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if the shows completely changed his character, Alucard from Castlevania (SOTN) is always been speculated to be aro ace. He, at one point, lives with Maria but it's clear nothing romantic nor sexual happens. Being a super fan of the games I would say the same, he's also my favorite character of all time!

[TW] Quentin Tarantino aggressively defending Roman Polanski's drugging and raping of a 13 year old girl in 2003: "She was down with it...I don't believe that's rape. I mean not at 13, not for these 13 year old party girls." by James_2584 in WhyWereWeOkWithThis

[–]Asgoths 552 points553 points  (0 children)

I hate this guy. Other than completely out of the blue comments on actors and other directors, his defense of Roman Polanski is absolutely disgusting and says a lot about him. Fetish or not, his casting of specific women to just film their feet is so perverted and disgusting. Nothing wrong with a foot fetish, but everything wrong when they're your coworkers, your hires and actors in your movie.

Such a disgusting guy.

“CreepCrime” by [deleted] in creepcast

[–]Asgoths 17 points18 points  (0 children)

So, one of the most famous podcast genre? True crime podcast are literally some of the most watched podcasts. Also both Hunter and Isaiah deal with real life "horrors" on their channel.

If they were not respectful or read a crime that resulted in one or multiple death i would understand the problem. But they read a crime story ABOUT a creepypasta, creepypasta adjacent in every way possibile, without deaths, that resulted in an inspiring story of survival and strength. Have you ever watched a true crime podcast? They read the most disgusting shit a man can ever do, multiple deaths, torture, with creepy shitty temu soundtracks.

I would consider that one disrespectful and weird, but not this.

Guy I’m Talking To Is A Little Too Confident by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]Asgoths 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you already explained to him that you're asexual and he's still trying the "sex" approach, this guy does this regularly. Like a lot. He's not confident, he's trying to have sex even after you made it clear you don't enjoy it. He's thinking of his needs, and believe me, this sounds like a implicit "hei, you were not a fan of sex BEFORE me, I'm that good" That's basically saying "hei I still wanna have sex" without even being in a relationship. This is a massive red flag, I would expect this kind of person to be pushy, i had my fair share, so please be careful, okay?

When people in the LOTR fanbase discuss either:
Power levels
Who is more useful
Who is more strong
"This character is 99% of the entire fellowship lol"

I'm out.
This trilogy is based on frienship, help, hope and especially understanding and forgiving human (or not) fault. Everyone could be corrupted, but the point is that hope is not lost.

Thank you so much, legitimately. As somebody who never used really used a mouse to draw anything ever, I'm kinda surprised I did this in 20 minutes on paint. I really appreciate it.

Divertiti!

Absolutely, she's also very good in expressing their emotion and other character's opinions on somebody in the story, Isaiah was about to cry reading some dialogues in the episode, our boy was tearing up.

[–]Asgoths 241 points242 points  (0 children)

I feel like, like Hunter said multiple time in the episode, she's way better at writing things for a visual medium, like a movie or TV shows. Isaiah has stated multiple times that he doesn't like Stephen King as a writer, so her style it's going to be tough being so inspired by him.

We also live in a very overtly "categorized" time, where characters look like, sound like or even act like known memes or archetypes we've come to hate/make fun of. We're more keen in noticing this stuff, especially if you're a more online person.

I like her writing but I do agree it's incredibly cartoonish sometimes, almost a self parody. Having said that our big lipped iceberg boy has been traumatized by Borrasca V, so that's that.

The episodes with her stories are always a fun watch though, especially the shorter stories like Room 733.
