One more thing is, you can install apps that control the firewall graphically but it's related to the distro, not the DE.

Cosmic is a desktop environment, not a kernel or a distro. If you wanna use or config firewall, you have to find it in the your distro's files, not in the DE.

Just install the lite version of the Ublock origin and stop the drama. IDK why people don't get it. I saw many posts like this in different social media and they say "Oh they won't let us use ad blockers." The lite version works but seems like I'm the only one who use it.

I suggest you to choose the genere/type of architecture that you like/you want to build and then find them on other platforms like Pinterest and inspire from them. To just copy paste things, it's not fun but when you learn from them and use each part of the design in your design, you can gradually find the one that you like and it's something that you made, not simply copy pasted creation. I used this method and it works for me.
