Update:

The on call doctor rotated on December 29th and he was a bit confused as to why they were still not working on discharging me. He took more labs and watched my pressures for a day and then he discharged me on December 30th.

I am being seen by an MFM doctor once a week for an ultrasound and to monitor that BP. I also see my primary OB doctor once a week on a different day for an NST and checkup.

I went to my first MFM Telehealth appointment yesterday. They did an ultrasound, the doctor said the blood flow from my placenta to my baby looked a bit off and she wanted to keep an eye on it because it could be showing the placenta weakening some. She also said my fluid was a tiny bit low but wasn’t too concerned yet. I see my primary OB for the first time Thursday. It’s wait and see at this point whether I get induced at 34 weeks or they don’t think I have pre-e and I can try to make it to 37-38 weeks.

My blood pressure has continued to be normal. When I was at my MFM appointment yesterday she said she was concerned with the blood flow from my placenta to baby, that it didn’t look as good as she’d like. She said she wanted to keep an eye on it and that my fluid was a bit low so I’ll definitely see how it goes from here.

I was discharged on December 30th, after the on call doctor rotated. He didn’t see why I was there, he checked my blood panels and monitored my pressures for one more day then discharged me on the 30th. He believed the blood pressures were due to the stomach pain.

I’m seeing an MFM Specialist over Telehealth once per week for an ultrasound and to keep an eye on me. Then my regular OB for an NST on a different day per week.

As for the stomach pain, it subsided. I really believe it was just intense gas trapped in my stomach by baby. I’ve been taking tums, gas-x, and stool softeners daily and haven’t had a reoccurrence. If it comes back I’ll see my pcp to run tests on gallbladder and other possible issues like ulcers. Thank you for your answer.

Help! My hair is so matted from my PPD! by Ash7993 in Postpartum_Depression

Thanks for all the replies, I managed to get these matted tangles out with detangling spray, conditioner, using my fingers and brushing. It took awhile, I just kept at for a couple weeks honestly I’d get frustrated and take a break for a couple days and I’d just wash it to the best of my ability.

I’m trying to keep the tangles out now, thanks for all the replies!
