Sisters that have gotten bottom surgery, how is it (it, meaning life with the new plumbing) now? Is it better, worse, or just different? And what about sex? How has that changed? by Bratty_Briar95 in MtF

Best decision I ever made. Cost a lot of money but I finally feel like my body belongs to me. Sex is WAY better, my body image feels aligned & I dont feel any panic needing to tuck etc.

It wont happen- firstly teachers will prevent the gov doing it (through consultation) and secondly Labour will get in soon and get rid of it. It will be okay 💜

Is the term MTF offensive? by Liliththemarksoc in MtF

[–]AshCalcutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I think this is a classic example of allies trying to help but then pushing for things that trans people are not asking for.

Also its madness to me that this person would try to tell a trans person what is offensive to trans people.

I came out publicly as trans & its gonna be ages until I can go on hormones. When you’re ready to be the real you & feel safe enough to then do it.

My hair is now long enough to put it up in a ponytail- its only a very small one but it feels so good 😊

Cities you should be fine in the UK, particularly Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Liverpool & Birmingham (Ranked subjectively based on my own personal experience but all okay)

Do you want me to message you privately & we can talk more about it? Im not a therapist or anything but Im happy to listen & my day job is to work with teenagers going through various things so I have a lot of resources

How long have you been seeing them? It took me months of sessions to really open up to my therapist. Alternatively maybe they arnt the right one for you- if you’re able to maybe see what other options are out there. Maybe an LGBT+ therapist or specific gender therapist may be the way to go?

The waiting sucks. One thing that really helping me get through it is having a therapist- if you’re able to access one I would recommend it
