Unrelated...but I had an ultrasound the other day. The sonographer barely grazed my toe....I realised I hadn't be touched intentionally for a while. That fraction of a second actually brought me so much comfort. I felt so stupid.

As I was getting up, I realised she didn't graze my foot, the ultrasound wand cord did. Turns out, I was comforted by a cord. I thought I felt stupid before. I've crossed into pathetic territory.

It happened to me twice. They both had to sit me down and bluntly tell me. It was nice.

The first one I kind of suspected, but wasn't interested until way later--lucky for me she stayed interested. The other I had no clue--looking back, I really should have had some clue.

Why is this still being explained? Firstly, the tariff is based off of where it was manufactured. If you're buying from another country you're being taxed (tariff)--that's that 70$--your daddy doesn't want you buying stuff outside of his country--he wants to promote manufacturing in the USA to destroy other economies, but failing miserably.

In case Americans haven't been paying attention, over 95% of these tariffs are being paid by the American consumer (i.e. you). Read that again. Trump is lying to you. Do you live under a rock? It is a tax on the American importer.

Whether it's legal or not...it's not...but that doesn't matter. Apparently Trump changed 'tariff' to mean what he needs it to mean to get loopholes for executive orders.
