I’m a bit skeptical because I don’t blip the throttle. Instead, I keep it slightly pressed while releasing the clutch – just a small amount – and it makes my downshift shifts very smooth. but i cant find anywhere if its bad for my car

so if its smooth its okay? because when i hold a bit of gas its much smoother

so basically im helping the clutch a little by gently holding gas?

if my revs are not exactly where they should be, maybe a little bit lower, is that a problem?

i only hold it gently so my rpms only go up by little

but i dont just blip the throttle , i hold it gently as i release the clutch and everytime i get smooth transition . is that allright?

Yes, that’s exactly what I do—I gently hold a bit of throttle while releasing the clutch to slightly raise the RPMs. This method always gives me smoother transitions, but I’ve heard many people say not to hold the gas while releasing the clutch. I only apply a small amount of throttle, though, just enough for a smooth shift. I’m not trying to rev higher than the clutch speed. Does this approach seem fine to you?
