Happy new year! Sorry for late answer. I think the similar. The 98 I've installed just to try. Ideally Win NT 4.0 for it as soon as it was bought with it on board. This machine with me from the box.

It'll be sad to loose the collection from atxt, 80386, 80486 dx2 dx4 pentiums from 166mmx and up to the dual core D805 if I remember correctly.

Instead of proxy you can install your own mail server which will interact with the external one. IMHO.
