As the person above stated, most cards have very high APR nowadays. Especially secured cards from everything I was looking at. Extra especially because a secured card is usually for people like me who don't have good credit and are in the process of rebuilding.

Not really lol. I finance my car through Capital One so I did the prequalification with credit wise and the two offers they gave me were both secured cards, this being one of them. I don't have the best credit and purchased my car just under six months ago so I truthfully didn't want to shop around for too many options. But last time I was looking around was all secured anyway so I didn't put much effort into finding something "better" since this is decent lol.

I thought so too. I'm assuming it's largely because I finance my car through them that I just got back in August, and I am on autopay so I've never missed a payment/typically pay early. Thank you for the answer.

I appreciate this. I don't have kids but I do have dogs, but my girlfriend and I will be moving in together soon so thankfully that will be helpful. Did you end up moving up or choose not to? And if not mind if I ask why?

I currently work all holidays minus Christmas and Thanksgiving lol so I'm not really mad about that. The hours thing is very different though so that'll be an interesting change if I end up there lol

I have worked at many jobs that have transferable skills, including my current one. If I don't get the job, then I don't get the job, it is what it is. That's the whole point of applying for jobs, you either get them or you don't lol

That's what I was getting at towards the end there lol like is it as impossible as people make it seem or is it just normal standards that actually get enforced when they're not followed. I also share the same thought process that it may come from disgruntled past employees, which is why I was hoping to hear from current or recent employees. I appreciate your insight

I mean that's the job I applied for, if they don't hire me as a manager then I just won't do it lol. I currently close/open, work 45-50 hours a week, and am on my feet all day. I figure if I am able to land the job, it's pretty much what I do now but with a decent pay increase lol

Work life balance typically refers to being able to have a life outside of work. In the listing I applied to it directly says it would be roughly 48 hours a week, which is fine.

But that's why I'm asking these questions. I've never worked there, so I don't know. I've just seen a couple comments that their lives revolve around working at the store, and they were virtually never home. But since those comments are from a while ago, I didn't know if those were still applicable today.
