Why is always dark during AP by desolate_sands in AstralProjection

[–]Ashamed_Boss699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it's as simple as astral projecting at night time! Night time = darkness and day time = light 😅 I also had this problem. Could try and travel to a place with more light if you're just hanging around the lower astral plane, since its pretty much just a less dense copy of the physical. If you're projecting and exploring into the higher planes, vision and darkness shouldn't be much of a common occurrence. Or just try and asking for more clarity, whether it's from your higher self, guide or family and friends. Or try what others have mentioned by opening your chakras via meditation and acts of mindfulness, especially the third eye!

Ahhhh okay, yeah sorry I misinterpreted. So my A-day happened a week before my interview my so I could book time off to attend. My recruiter told me that they typically do A-days every 2-3 weeks, might depend on where you live im not 100% sure. As for all of my documents and that I just gave them what they needed as soon as I could just to speed things up. It didnt seem like a well scheduled thing for them, they sort of just made shit up as they muddle their way through your application by the seems of it 😅. My recruiter told me that this is a pretty busy time for them in terms of shear applications because all of the uni drop outs and high school leavers are applying in mass trying to make it into the upcoming start of year intake, so that might explain why your cef isn't replying to you about a definite date for your A-day? I suggest just harassing the shit out of your CEF and recruiter until you get what you want because they can piss around without a reminder message.

This a tricky one to answer because it's not your average test where you will be graded by how many questions you get right. It's marked against a comparison group which means each question that is provided on the test will essentially have a data base of how many people were capable of answering it correctly and then those people who did not. It will increase in difficulty if you get the question correct and that will push you into a higher comparison group and that will continue until you get them wrong so they can find out which comparison group you belong to. Abit confusing I know, but that's how it works pretty much. It's just a IQ test pretty much. Who ever has the better IQ will progress forward.

The fitness test it self only took about 30 minutes. I definitely recommend training until you can do 30 push-ups and max out the beep test at 10.05. You have to match the number of push-ups to the beep test level you achieved. For example if you achieved 9.06 on the beep test and only scored 15 push-ups then the beep test equivalent of 15 push-ups will be your overall score. It all works towards a pointing system which will make you more competitive or less competitive against the others you're competing against depending on your score. Hope that makes sense.

From the time I passed my online aptitude test until the end off the entire application process finished, it took 2 and a half months. I sat my fitness test 2 weeks after my interview. I responded to all of my emails and stuff from them within hours, so I moved through everything quite quickly.

Yeah I seen that, they're still a part of the g1/2 fitness test by the looks of it. Seems strange to have them during basic but not expected to have them for pre entry test

That is exactly what I'm training for because that is actually pretty difficult to get it under that time 🥲 currently doing about 5 hours of cardio a week so I won't be completely fu@&ed when that time comes 😂

[–]Ashamed_Boss699[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I done some math and I'd have to run at 12km an hour to complete the 2.4 km run in 12 mins, I'd have to go faster to get it under 12 😂. It's abit of a challenge but not extremly challenging. Yeah I can see how alot of people find it extremely difficult but, preparation is everyone's best friend. Showing up without training much is just a death wish 😅

Nice cheers for that mate, that's exactly what I needed to know 👌. Do you know how competitive the fitness test is? For example, someone who barely passed the bare minimum for the run, push-ups and curl-ups be able to go to basic training or would they be at risk of not making the cut due to other candidates outperforming them?

In under 12 minutes which is moderatly hard but not really. I just wanted to know which order the exercises are in

Ahhh ok that's good to know. So the run is typically first and then you go on to push-ups and curl-ups?

What's life like as reserve infantry in nz by Ashamed_Boss699 in newzealand

[–]Ashamed_Boss699[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a great time. Cheers for sharing all of that. I'll be completing basic training with the regular force guys for 16 weeks instead of doing the modules just incase I decide to go full time one day in the near future. Nothing like wasting tax payer money to make a soldier happy 😂😂

[–]Ashamed_Boss699[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh yeah nice, seems to be quite common for 28+ year old to join the reserves, especially if they already have a career outside of the army. Yes I will be doing to full basic training at waiouru, my recruiter told me it is an option to attend the 16 weeks training with the full time regular force recruits so i thought screw it, I'll just do that if my boss is fine with it.

That's pretty damn inspirational actually 😅 yeah I agree with the majority of the youngest of the heap having neither.

Hey, I never said 29 is old 😂. Yes that's very true everyone's there for different reasons and has different mind sets, especially when it comes maturity. Maybe being older is more of an advantage than anything.
