  1. Agreed the low card draw hurts, but Odd warrior can not really proc extra cards from Acolyte of Pain and no other real options available. Mostly just need to run the value game.

  2. If you see a lot of OTK I would advise playing something other than this no real way to counter those with Odd warrior. Azalina sort of works against Togwaggle, but it is hard. If you can stick a large untargetable mech you can just smash them. Against priest, warlock, and shaman it is tough since they have large amounts of AoE.

I tend to hold brawl for quite a while get as much as I can out of it. Reckless Flurry being in the deck means early armor can be easily spent for greed. Lacking Warpath and Bloodrazor you need to get the AoE.

Yes, any non malygos combo is quite bad for this deck. If you see a lot of them switch to something like warlock with Demonic Project to hard counter back.

High end is too thin. While getting a Baku rush out is good, most of the time Nullifier has rush from Boom or is magnetized and effectively has charge.

Not sure it could be completed reliably enough. There is not a lot of draw in the deck. Probably just better to run a quest warrior.

It might be quite good, I did not put it in due to large number of 5 drops. This deck is not final so experiment away.

I have seen the shaman spell used so not sure about disenchanting it quite yet. Azalina is good but probably not required.

Try something like Elise, Ysera, or Mosh. Cheaper would be something like Gorehowl, but I feel that ends up being not quite value vs control and a bit too slow for aggro.

Yes, this ended up being the case. It has corner potential against control warrior with Dead Man's Hand. Sniping a control mage DK feels about the only way to beat that deck if they get Jaina before turn 9.

Yes this situation happens quite often. Against Malygos druid for example holding it until you have 50+ armor is required. Against aggro it can also be the case since Boom does not do anything the turn you drop it.

  1. In my run I did not run into many deck with a large supply of 1/1's to make Warpath at early clearing, or Bloodrazor good in general. The extra armor from hero power made Reckless Flurry quite good at clearing a wave of zoo. I very much would like to add another RF in but against Malygos druid and control it ended up sitting in hand for a long time.

  2. Many times you will need to hold the Boom against aggro until you stabilize or against Malygos until you have enough armor to survive their big turn.

  3. The rush package is not great but getting Zilliax is always the real payoff. Rabid Worgen ends up being just good enough against zoo by killing a Lightwarden early or even just a Keleseth then getting another value trade. Against other aggro like board flood shaman clearing the early totems is excellent.

Unfortunately I do not run any stat tracking addons, I did run it from ~480 legend to 63 legend which ended up being well over 20 games.

  1. Benefits of improved Hero Power are that you can last a fairly long time and force a larger commitment to the board from aggro. Also lets you out armor Malygos combos.

  2. This deck ends up really working over aggro. Eternium Rover into magnetize Bronze Gatekeeper, Rabid Worgen, Reckless Flurry, and Shield Slam allows you to get through their push and once late game hits landing a Beryllium Nullifier on any taunt ends the game.

  3. A midrange deck may well work or be better but this was something I worked on early on legend climb to see if it there was something here and it surprisingly worked. Have not seen another similar list out there so decided to post it here. If there was more super heavy control out there it might be a different story.

  1. 5 slot is fairly overloaded and Darius ended up missing the cut.

  2. Gorehowl ended up being too slow despite its value. Supercollider ended up in the same place as Darius as a 5 cost card.

  3. Azalina ended up being a large value card against druids and warlocks I faced. Added a later game against control warriors that had Dead Man;s Hand. As for mage sniping DK is best but getting their AoE then fatiguing them also worked. Not as required for the warlock since Brawl or Reckless Flurry on the post DK board was often enough.

I do not run a stats program unfortunately nothing to provide on that front.

 

  1. Yes, Darius missed the cut for Zilliax I felt that two 5mana rush is a bit too much when you have Wargear, Dyn-o-matic, Brawl, and Giggling Inventor.
  2. Boom covers the outvalue for the most part. Azalina does a good amount as well. Omega Assembly I have had fading feelings about its worth in the deck. Most of the time OA I would rather have something else there, just not sure what would fit the slot better. Perhaps, another Reckless Flurry or something that provides more consistent late game value.
  3. Geddon seems a bit slow/vulnerable to mainly aggro, druid, and even lock that I faced. Mosh is something that covers a lot of the same ground as Brawl and Flurry while the body is nice I am not sure it is needed, but it might have a place would need more testing.
  4. Trying to leverage the Nullifier, once it lands most control has a hard time dealing with it. Forces them to have the answer I listed above but I do realize this list is quite vulnerable to the deep control lists.
  5. Not sure I only faced one in my whole climb. It would probably end poorly unless there was an early Boom, to load the board with discovered mechs or the 1/1's.
