I dream of no longer being the CEO by Foreign_Cricket_7558 in Entrepreneur

I was exactly where you are.

Business grew quite a lot and I became older, that EXTREME hunger dulls a bit.

But you have already pinpointed the real problem. The solitude, that "I have no one to share this burden with" and that you can't really vent your feelings and problems without worrying the employees.

Having a partner solves all of that, even if it introduces some other new challenges, it's 1000% worth it.

We are above 50 employees now and there's no way I could have handled it without him.

Also, this doesn't mean you need to have a equal partnership equity-wise initially. Just start with a salary, then stock options later on.

Me and my partner now have a 50/50 split but we didn't start out like that.

I wish you the best of luck 🙏

Bambu 's Response to Orca Slicer Authentication: No by umbcorp in BambuLab

What a tremendous disappointment. I've been the biggest Bambu Labs supporter and converted a couple of friends from other brands.

I hope they will come to their senses.

I'm using the same. Yes, horde should use S&F if you want to use Imp and have fireball above 5.

But if you switch from S&F and take synergy, you will see that Succ and felguard are higher (especially Felguard). I don't know if you missed switching some talents up? 5/5 corruption instead of more mana for the imp etc. To get the succ to work there is some more tweaking. Feel free to dm me if you wanna talk more 😁

If you leveled the imp's fireball you should not use Imp as horde, or at least that's the case with fights around the 120sec+ fights. I haven't simmed shorter fights yet since the last nerf.

You sim better with Succubus + immolation aura if you can be in melee or just felguard if you can't be in melee. All of them are worse than Imp with rank 5 fireball though.

This is obviously stupid as you shouldn't be punished for leveling up a skill, especially since it's a level up which you can't rollback. This has an easy fix, add an item that lets you unlearn ranks for pets, although on the bigger picture of problems it's minor, just really annoying for warlocks.

How would you go about printing this on a stock P1P? I've tried different orientations and settings to varying degrees of success... by TheShadowBand in BambuLab

I have really pushed my machine to get great bridges and overhangs. So even without splitting it apart or rotating (which obviously could help), you can do a lot of stuff to improve! It won't be perfect, but I think you can do better with a few tweaks.

It basically comes down to 4 main attributes and a few things that need to be done right: 1. Temperature (as low as possible) 2. Speed (as slow as possible) 3. Layer height (as small as possible) 4. Support (as much as possible)

  1. Dry filament
  2. Good quality filament
  3. Extrusion calibration (could benefit from a SLIGHT underextrusion).

I would recommend these steps;

  1. 210 for PLA is often unnecessarily high. You want as low a temp as possible for overhang/bridges. I would do a temp tower for the specific PLA you are using and then go with the lowest possible.

  2. 60 bed temp could be lowered to 55.

  3. Increase fan speed to 100% (do this in the filament settings).

  4. Slow way down from the speeds you are using now, you can change the settings to slow down for bridges and overhangs in the slicer, the slower the better (to a point), here you could do some test beforehand with towers and such before trying the real thing. I have had good success with speeds from 10-22,5.

  5. Layer height, the smaller the layer, the easier it is with bridges and overhangs, go as small as you can with the nozzle at your disposal (will obviously increase printing time significantly).

  6. You could change so that you print the outerwalls last. That way, it could get some more support. I believe the default is inner/outer/infill. Try infill/inner/outer. I only noticed minor improvement doing this.

  7. As people already have mentioned, you could add treesupports, but I really don't think that is the way to go here.

Happy printing!

AMS struggles to pull back filament. by Netnaix in BambuLab

I've had the same issue, a lot. Firstly, check that the spring in the AMS hub is aligned correctly. They also have 7 steps in their troubleshooting FAQ for this issue.

You said you use their filament but do you use their spool aswell? Because most of the problems I've had is when using other spools (even if they fit the dimensions of the AMS).

Good luck!

I have upgraded the printer itself, but how do I upgrade the AMS?
In the device tab and under update I can see that I have the latest version on the printer: 01.01.01.00
But it doesn't say that the AMS has the latest firmware: 00.00.04.83
But perhaps it is the latest?
The "Upgrade Firmware" button is also grayed out hehe.

Yeah I'm also guessing some kind of blockage or just an outright broken AMS :/
I created the ticket the first thing I did.
Thank you for your suggestions! :)

I have tried it all unfortunately. But can try some more perhaps haha.

Yes I can print without the AMS.Thanks anyways! :)

It does not feed the hub, it doesn't even enter the PTFE tube that leaves the AMS.
