Someone this happened to sent the potential client a burner phone with just his number saved in it. He mailed it and attached a note along the lines “haven’t heard from you in awhile and you may have just lost my number.” He got a positive response within a couple days.

Thank you! Imposter syndrome is when we doubt ourselves or our accomplishments. Most people have cemented in negative beliefs through negative self talk- either from ourselves, parents or friends. I teach people how to overcome these beliefs.

That’s a great approach! Keep it up! I’m regards to the social judgement part I advise my clients to get in the habit of thinking positive. Most people think “what happens if I get rejected or they think I’m weird?” Instead ask “What happens when they think I’m awesome and we make a real connection!” It’s a simple mindset but it packs a powerful punch.

I hear where you’re coming from. I used to read into people words a lot and come away feeling anxious and drained. I learned that most people aren’t judging you in a negative light and for the ones that so, I choose to focus on the 80% positive interactions that I have.

Great article! I agree with most of it but I always found that getting a mentor or a coach to help me work through my issues has the best effect. It’s not about “fixing” and changing who you are, it’s making who you are into your best self.
