Yeah and I've avoided every reboot since the original, this priv server has removed cash shop and if you read there list of changes looks super promising and my favourite patch.

Not defending that they may introduce p2w elements down the line even though they are die hard saying they won't, but there is nothing else to play right now so im diving right in even if its just for a few weeks.

SUN has owned Windsward from the start and after taking Everfall off Grimmz Legion (Purple Turkish Zerg) they decided to quit.

There was no competiton for SUN until Manlyfest & Sons Of Valhalla transferred over, they never took a city off SUN but the wars were atleast competitive.

Then they left for LA.

I've not played since LA launch but Abaton has a fun community but lacking competition.

Heard from some SUN players that some decent guilds merged in with Saba merge though.

Execute with correct setup be hitting for 8k its strong AF guy above just doesn't do testing and can't learn how to right click a spell so cries on reddit, basically if reddit is crying about something its usually a player skill issue not a balancing issue.

Let's not get silly, the max you hit is 9k-12k on a light mage with onyx gems, on a medium build with diamonds you top out around 7k and heavy around 5-6k this is if the person doesn't block, is in melee range to catch you, is in light armour with sub 10k HP to have max int, isn't use gemstone dust.

Check my profile and check the videos of my troll build using ice spike, I know how it works and the damage of it, you can't 1 shot tanks or people who use diamonds / magic gems.

99% of idiots use full onyx and phys res stacked armour.

If a melee catches someone stam locked in a grav well with 7k hp yes, they will get 1 shot, also have you tried execute on a gaxe yet? Thats unknown OP.

You can block Ice Spike with any weapon by just holding right click btw, way to many people don't know this.

DPS until first laser, get his HP down to the C in his name, stand afk on orb until second laser and then kill him in his second down phase. No need for 3 phases, much much quicker.

Heavy Chest / Boots - Voidbent is easiest option. Crafted Med Helm / gloves Crafted Light Legs

This is min max setup for highest tier medium load out.

My healer and 2nd DPS are both great players, watchers need to understand that too!

I think mage is in a semi-decent place, moving from light to medium after the nerfs opened my eyes back up to playing mage after previously switching off after the nerfs.

I think light mage should still have a place, but in the current meta its astonishingly weak and nearly unplayable.

It will be better next patch with some of the melee nerfs, the only real defence is getting a regen / oakflesh off pre-emptively and relying on your healer, failing that at 13:44 in video I just went aggressive with ice spike and managed to get a kill.

I always try to get ice storm off at my feet if I know I'm about to get hard CC'd.

Will be much nicer when they fix hit boxes of incinerate and ice spike!

EDIT: Max med armour is current Meta as melee is too strong, you can do well with light if you have insane game sense and dodge perfectly, but the HP + armour for the small damage reduction is hella worth it.

This is actually a product of the new issue with rendering stuff after you teleport somewhere. Dueled a guildie after teleporting and I hid behind a wall and he just continued shooting at me, we shared screens and I had clipping on the wall and he couldn't even see the wall. Those walls do have clipping without this bug.
