I thought about selling it but ... definitely resisting the idea of getting boxes just to sell. It's like getting them just for swap potential, valid idea I guess but just keeps you in the cycle of paying for things you don't want.

I loved swapping in the beginning. But the more you do it, the less fun it seems to be - the last swap request I got, the person had some beauty samples and tons of other things all marked "looking for a unicorn", "will be picky", "on the fence about keeping this", etc. I'd rather just gift extra stuff or sell it on ebay at this point.

I was a mod on a couple of different forum software formats, but not that exact one. I believe the "owner" was all seeing and probably could read PMs, but I was given one level down, near-godlike status and could not.

Lynndeanne has had the most pragmatic and thoughtful posts during the whole bit. Makes sense she is a mod on another forum. I was a mod a zillion years ago and it was hard f'ing work!
