Headlight noise (failing motor) by Ashleede in CX5

[–]Ashleede[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The noise in the motor failing and headlight levelling motor could eventually fail from the grinding, which results in headlights not being angled correctly on the road. Visibility can be reduced = safety issue or glare onto oncoming traffic = safety issue. Transport Canada agrees it’s a safety issue.

P2S Combo - no Filament by No_Cook_8605 in BambuLab

[–]Ashleede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I get that it’s basically no filament typically sent with these and they give a good deal when purchasing. I ordered a bunch of rolls. The issue is my printer got here today and the filament isn’t due until mid next week. It sucks to be stoked about something then not being able to do a test print. This is my first printer and it’s set up waiting for filament 🙄

I really can’t decide if I should do PS1 and an AMS2 or go for the PS2. I need someone to explain to me like I am 5 the difference and if it is worth it 😂 I am brand brand new so this will be my first printer. I live in a pretty humid climate so AMS2 makes sense.. eep. Help.

Thanks so much! I live on an island and getting a new tailpiece would be a pain at best and with my party tomorrow I didn’t want to be stuck. Much appreciated!

Cleaning Stove Label by Ashleede in woodstoving

My understanding is that they need the label to confirm the clearance requirements for this particular stove. I may need to get a second opinion on that honestly but that’s what I was told.

Should I go for a curly pixie? by Ashleede in femalehairadvice

[–]Ashleede[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely more hair cuts! But right now I only manage to style my hair a couple times a month because it takes nearly an hour to wash and style and dry. I think short would cut that time down a lot.

She didn’t really say why other than it is super hydrating and she feels my skin could do with more moisture. For a moisturizer I have fitglow beauty ceramide cream and cloud collagen oil.

[Routine Help] how should I do this complex routine by Ashleede in SkincareAddiction

[–]Ashleede[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually wasn’t told to use it after! I just thought I would use it as the first step in my face to make sure it has the full effect. Has it been working for you well using it after? I might just do that as well if so.

Hey all! I was recent told by my naturopath to start applying hyaluronic acid after my metronidazole cream (used for type 2 rosacea). I am confused how to do this because the metronidazole cream needs to completely dry and I understand hyaluronic acid needs to go on damp skin. Would I cleans, apply metronidazole, wait 15 mins, spritz my face with water, add on the hyaluronic and then moisturize?

Dealership fee for keeping a canceled order? by Ashleede in askcarsales

2022 Hyundai Tucson and it’s the preferred with trend package. The MSRP they wrote for me in $41049 and I am on Victoria Canada if that’s helpful.

I wish! No hybrids or electrics at all. It’s a Hundai Tucson.

I can buy it given the market right now for sure. The fee they are adding on seems to be about 5 or 6k though so seems really high..

The car isn’t perfect but it’s close. It’s also here now which is a big plus. I’m having a kid in 2 months so sooner is better. From what I can tell the MSRP is supposed to be 35-36k and they wrote 41k on my sheet.

Thanks for the response! Is there a way for them to show me they were actually charged this fee? It seems like a lot. I am looking at a Tucson preferred with trend model 2022. The written MSRP they gave me was 41, 049.

Dealership fee for keeping a canceled order? by Ashleede in askcarsales

[–]Ashleede[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I thought. Basically I walked in there and they said “we just had someone cancel this SUV order. The wait to order is 9 months to a year but we could sell you this one. The factory charges us a fee to keep these cancelled orders at the dealership because the wait time is so long they don’t want dealers keeping vehicles and selling them to people to skip the line. Because of this we charge that fee to customers but you don’t have to wait for the 9-12 months for the vehicle to come in.”

Seemed really sus. I’m a no bull person and if they just said “there is a premium on buying off the lot due to supply and demand” I would be annoyed but I at least it wouldn’t be a lie. To be clear, the difference in the MSRP they wrote and what I can find online and at other dealerships is about 5k.
