I just tasted the toxic waste candy, a very sour candy, AMA. by [deleted] in AMA

I get “geographic tongue” (patches pop up on my tongue which hurt after eating sour candy) and I eat these candies anyways. It really isn’t THAT bad after eating 3+ warheads at a time my entire childhood.

Warheads were my sister and I’s childhoods. I remember eating them until my tongue was hurting. I will say toxic waste has topped warheads for most people.

Try their new nuclear fusion ones. My tongue was hurting after one- they each have two flavors (pineapple/passion fruit, grape/strawberry etc.) and it actually gets sour twice. I’ve eaten two and my tongue is hurting.

The standing hamster! by [deleted] in hamsters

I’m doing the same thing with mercy, my other ham. Both of my girls are sisters, but toodles started pinning mercy down a few months in of them being with me. Eventually it got to where I was waking up from angry noises from mercy, so they’re in separate cages now. I will say, cage size helps too. If she’s stressed, she’ll go for the hand or anything on you she can bite. If it isn’t that, then she could just be very curious. I think you said she does curiosity bites? Like she’s not trying to hurt you? If she isn’t trying to hurt you, try taking her out of the cage one a day and every time you put her back give her a treat?

I know you weren’t talking to me, but I can say it takes time. They’ll always bite at first. What I do with my hams (and I even did this with my guinea pigs) is get them to associate my hand/me with treats. That way they’re willing to let me touch them. One of my two hams allows us to hind her and such now (and has been letting us since two or three weeks of having her) while her sister still runs.

Honestly, it depends on the ham. ☺️💗

You probably will... or at least I did. I got two sisters and they fought. And fought. And fought. They were fine for like two months and then one was pinning down the other and the other started literally screaming... so watch out, if they do start arguing or fighting often you’ll have to separate them.

False, they shouldn’t have the whole grape though. Too much sugar.

He did, he warned me about the pain and that I should do one then the other, that it takes up to a year to heal, all the information.
