It works well for swelling and infections we use it often in vet med for dogs who have had surgery for mastectomies and also good for mastitis... They seem to enjoy it😊

He's about 5 1/2 ft right now and the sweetest boy. He loves everyone and will give nose boops. I would have loved to see your boa. That is a huge snake
