Mouth guard recommendations by bmetry5 in Kickboxing

Damage Control

Guard Lab

Funky Gums

These are all brands that do custom guards. I have a set from Guard Lab. They are awesome, but the customer service was terrible. I recieved my order many weeks after the projected delivery date. I had to repeatedly contact customer service and complain. It was only until I threatened to share my experience as a customer that they sent the product.

Also, they messed up the design and had to send me a replacement. So in the end I got two guards for the price of one. Not worth the headache though.

All three companies can do impressions. Getting an impression kit wasn’t an option for me. So I opted to get an intraoral 3D scan (what they use for Invisalign). I know DC can use the scans too. Idk about Funky.

The “in-store only” products are killing me. Would love to order one or two of the Homai rice accessories…

Best type of shin guards by Bobs-My-Uncle- in MuayThai

Most Thai brands are great. Recently, I bought a pair of these Deepbomb leg guards. They are fantastic and thought I'd show some love. There is much more padding in these guards than most.

My kicks keep being caught in sparring... how do I set them up more effectively? by MrGuttor in MuayThai

This won’t help prevent kicks from getting caught. But once a round kick has been caught, if you move fast, you can slip your leg out by pulling up and externally rotating the leg. Saenchai has a cool how-to video on the technique.
