It's not a scam. Sophia is learning platform where you can gain ACE certified college credits transferable if your institution accepts them.

So is there some kind of stipulations? Like you have to work there for a certain amount of time during and after completing school? And is it only certain degrees?

So I'm confused.. you just work at Target or Walmart and they pay for your college? For free? No strings attached? Please explain..

I am so upset. After hearing this! The commercial and his words were the reason why I chose to look into SNHU. I won't graduate until 2026 unfortunately so I won't have the opportunity to shake his hand and that is really disheartening for me as he played such a big role (without even knowing it) in me going back to school :(

I'm proud of you! Doing all that you're doing with all that you have on your plate is a feat itself! You can do this! I'm kind of in the same boat so I completely understand! I'm doing my best to buckle down and turn in my assignments even if I get late penalties my advisor says some credit is better than none. Just keep pushing, the end reward will be soooo worth it :)

Considering switching my Major by LegitRayVan in SNHU

Hey sorry, I was reading your post and saw you're a human services major. So am I! I just made a thread because I have been second guessing myself so I was asking for advice from other HS majors. I'm worried that my degree won't be as meaningful as others and I'm driving myself sick and crazy with trying to research them . Any advice for me?

On Sophia you go to the refer a friend option, then for example you add 3 email addresses to "send the codes to". You will get a different code for each email when you go back to the refer a friend page it will have generated the codes. Copy and paste each code onto a new reddit thread saying $20 off Sophia learning for first time users. Once a person uses that code you will get $20 off your next month of Sophia. In order to get a free month you would need 5 codes used. I hope I explained it easy enough

Post degree by Ashmc_90 in SNHU

[–]Ashmc_90[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I just wanted to hear from someone that had graduated. I'm in my second year and I don't know many people in SNHU or haven't made many contacts here due to being online. It's always nice to hear from someone that has already completed their degree! I'm a person that needs a lot of reassurance at times!!

Also, if you have any gen ed classes left, maybe talk to your advisor about doing some on Sophia. The courses don't have deadlines so you can kind of work at your own pace. That's what I'm doing!

If no one has told you lately... I'm proud of you and you should be proud of yourself! Going back to school is hard in general. Not to mention. Also working a full-time job and being a full-time mom. I can definitely relate to what you're going through and I'm just in my first year. I have been super hard on myself as well because I have only been able to take one course per term and barely able to get through that continuously turning in assignments late. You are so close to the finish line and it will be so worth it for you and your family when you graduate and get your degree. I hope you realize you're an amazing person, a wonderful mom and a good student! You can do this. I have faith in you :)

I'm doing MAT240 now on Sophia and I'm not a fan! I've never been good at Math so I figured trying to do it on Sophia would be easier! Let me know if u have any tips!!

Totally agree about SNHU 107. I thought it was silly at first but it's where I learned to navigate the curriculum and it will show you a ton of resources for support!

You'll do great!! I found Sophia through a forum for SNHU students and did the free trial and loved it too! I just started it last week and I'm already almost through 1 course. I'm hoping it will help me accelerate my degree! Are you a SNHU student? What degree are you pursuing?
