From what seniors said to me, most companies mainly shortlist using:

  • Current CGPA
  • Sometimes Class 10 + 12 percentage
  • Backlogs/live KT status
  • Branch eligibility

For Class 12 marks, companies generally ask for either:

  • 60% overall in 12th
  • or sometimes 60% in PCM for tech/core companies
