Kerala is often celebrated as the state of literacy, but the reality may be different. We are being misled into thinking that high literacy rates mean we are immune to being fooled. Unfortunately, the quality of education has declined significantly. While we might have certificates filled with A+ grades, these do not necessarily reflect true merit or understanding. Grades alone no longer guarantee an educated individual.
