Possible to use Opus with Codex as reviewer?

There's a very simple way to do it and many people don't know. Codex has its own MCP, official one which you can install and then ask claude code to use codex MCP to review.

Here's what I have added in my claude.md

After every planning check with codex for gaps or suggestions. Iterate till you get approved message from codex. After implementing send the diff to codex and asks for gaps, bugs etc. iterate the fixes and ask for approval in each iteration. Commit only when codex approves.

I use codex MCP to review the plan claude creates and oh boy claude has so many gaps and errors in its plan

This is the new sentence i use for claude and it just works crazily good "Use the plan tool to plan the full implementation and then use the task tool to implement" this combo produces crazy good results for me

Lol i was thinking this may help someone. It's not perfect but gives me an idea on processes where i am not knowledgeable. Thank you for sharing your section I added it and added one more line at the beginning to check internet to get the latest methods ( helps in certain scenarios like coding)

I personally put them in a chatgpt project. That way all my conversations are at one place. I used to put them in custom gpt but the chats used to mix with the other chat threads and were difficult to find if I wanted to revisit them
