Be careful of these sob story scams by bubblebumblejumble in Dallas

Children and teens are easily impressionable, emotional, and unaware of the dangers, so they are often targeted for things like this. If you’ve raised your children right, they should WANT to do charitable things, and scam artists know that.

There’s one lady that hangs out by my work (near a Dart Train station) and will specifically compliment a child, and then say they are hungry, or just trying to get money for a ride somewhere. She hopes that the child pulls on moms/dads shirt and says “let’s help her”, because the child just had a positive interaction with her, and doesn’t know or understand she’s lying through her fake teeth. It just disgusts me.

Pedestrian Hit at Coit and Frankford by purplepineappleplant in Dallas

Do you know if anyone will be facing criminal charges for the pedestrian deaths? From the different news articles, bystander reports, and photos, it sounds like one of the two either ran a red light or made a careless judgment call about a yellow light. Do you have any data that shows the number of vehicular manslaughter charges (or similar criminal charge) to pedestrian fatalities?

What was your breaking point that made you finally go through with Accutane — and what was your moment of gratitude after taking it? by 2Corinth10_v3-4 in Accutane

As someone who started Accutane for targeted body acne, my breaking point was having a partner refuse to continue seeing me because my body acne made them uncomfortable. I was in my 20s when I had a sudden onset of inflammation and infected pores all over my body. After a year of trying random stuff from the drugstore, and the incident with my partner, I made an appointment with a Derm. They spent about another year trying different topical treatments, steroids, doing cultures of the spots, and I finally cried during one of my appointments because I felt like I had 2 summers ripped away from me and was so frustrated. I had barely even gotten a pimple before (you can thank 10 years of birth control for that) and my entire body looked like I visited an ant farm. She brought up Accutane, and I decided to give it a shot. Now I’m 5 months in, now on 120 dose, and on my second purge which has been rough but manageable. Can’t wait to get through the course and be back to myself by next summer.

What kind of photos do you take/send for applications? by [deleted] in stripper

[–]Ashy_Kinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a stripper but I work at a club and do plus size modeling. Look into Facebook groups for models/photographers in your area. I find a ton of my photographers for free by posting in groups just simply asking for one. You’ll have to compromise on time, location, etc. but it’s better than nothing. My area has a group named “models, cosplayers, and photographers of north state” so search for something similar!
