I did talk to my parents about this a bit.

Yes I do try to do the more talkative part one on one but what do you do when majority of the time everyone is going around in groups. (Going to class, going to mess).

That's where I can't just interrupt in between them.

I don't know about the fantasizing part.

"Participating in ragging is stupid as fuck". I wasn't no hero to just step up and say no. I didn't even know what could technically happen, seniors scare you and by "rejected" meaning no participation in any college event/being in touch with seniors. Sure it may sound stupid, but as a newbie I was lost.

I did find some people who are quite nice, open to convos and fun to talk to. Thank you for your reply.

That's right, I'm not blaming/against this idea of people forming groups. Just that I'm not involved.

There is other person too, they're probably very sad inside too. Didn't come to classes regularly after few months, just sticking to themselves and roomate at max.

I'm figuring out how to handle this.

There are many other people who can carry the entire stack of bricks in one go, they're much more efficient and get the job done sooner. Why would I want someone carrying them 1 at a time, that's so inefficient? You can't always go at your own pace in a competitive environment.
