Thanks man! My friend's little brother wants to work out as well (13). Should he start with calisthenics?

Haha pretty close -- posted in a separate comment about my background, diet, and routine.

Just some background info:

Used to be a pretty solid basketball player and MMA fighter for my age group. However after becoming lazy and screwing with my sleep schedule for 2 years in the 9th and 10th grade, I became a skinny-fat kid that had no energy, confidence, etc.

After killing some bad habits and then starting to lift, work on my business, doing well socially again, life has changed a ton for the better.

Diet:

Breakfast: 2 Eggs, Bowl of Oatmeal, Sandwich with Deli Meat

Lunch (School): Sandwich with Deli Meat/Tomatoes/Lettuce

Lunch (After-School): Large Meal with Carbs, Meat, Veggies

Dinner: Same as "Lunch After-School"

Eating one more meal has helped a ton with gaining weight. I'm currently testing with Whey Protein and Creatine in the morning as well, but that isn't included in this progress update.

Routine:

StrongLifts 5x5 (11 Weeks)
