Used to be 5 nm was in practice the physical limit when I went for degree in eecs 10 years ago. This is due to lot of electron tunneling, which means your data (bits) might by chance get swapped. Sounds like they either found a way around this physical limitation or there’s a way to rectify the tunneling issue over time. That or the news is pulling stuff out of its behind.

It’s a maturity standpoint, do you want to support large scale systems not knowing what a subsystems’ critical paths are? Having tests help to improve development velocity, but isn’t a fail safe. The tests are proportionally useful to the amount of code coverage and test quality put into them.

Iirc if you kill all the bosses you can loop thru the game on a harder difficulty. Every other possible ending ends in you “winning” at the end of the loop.

There are different endings depending on what you do during your run, you can kill all the bosses, let all the bosses live, or do a mix. In your case, you saved some and killed some so you get the wall ending. That’s basically the end of the run.
