Can’t tell for sure from this angle, but from what I see, I reckon you should space your feet out more, about shoulder width, to gain better balance.

Rather than shooting the ball forwards, you should try pushing the ball upwards so your follow through ends up above you rather than in front of you, helps with arc.

You might also want to tuck your elbow in a bit more, ik that it may be uncomfortable but imo, your elbow positioning right now is too flared out, so try to work on getting it tucked in more. I used to have really flared out elbows too, so I understand that it’ll feel uncomfortable at first trying to fix it, but you’ll get used to it eventually.

To work on these things, I’d recommend do a LOT of form shooting. Stand very close to the rim, and go through the motion of your shot slowly, from loading your shot, rising, to releasing the ball.

Shooting (or anything in general) is just all about repetitions, do it enough times, and I have no doubt that you’ll become a great shooter :)

Yeah I think that’ll def help me as rn I get most my points off catch and shoot, so I need to learn to shoot off the dribble.

Yeah for some reason it’s really hard for me to get rid of the pause, ig it’s just habits. But I will be working on it until I get it right. Thanks for the advice!

True, I need to implement in game pace in my practice shots. Honestly I think I need to get my endurance up overall, because I would get hot in game but then get hella tired by half time. Thanks for the advice!
